My very best

Well, after two days in hell RUSH poker finally showed me his nicer face

So my new best session is +$321.27 and my new best day is $+446.92.

I'm 8 tabling (just for the record) : 4*NL25 + 4*NL50. Every session is 1 hour long...

March update

I’m paying at NL30 on Ongame at the moment and I think I beat it really well (8.12 BB/100)

In the same time I had some problem with NL50 here. And after an emergency cash out (thanks for FullTilt’s Black Friday) I went back to NL30. This time I’d like to build a little bit bigger BR for the next shot.

Major changes

I’m waiting for so long with this step. Maybe too long but it’s better late than never

So I decided to move from FullTilt to OnGame. We all know that how hard is to play on FullTilt if you need to make money. Full with regulars, very hard competition even at small stakes. For me especially…

Till your main goal is to learn then PS and FT are perfect sites: many-many regulars, lots of chance to develop. But when you have to earn money for your living without a nice and healthy BR these two sites are the worst options.

Anyway, as you all know I invested much time and energy into my iron man status on FullTilt and I don’t want to lose that because it just starts to generate a nice bonus. So the plan is this: I leave enough money there to play rush poker which is the best option imo to earn ftp’s as fast as possible. But in the same time my primary site will be the OnGame. I’ve already started to play there. Just at micros to get used to the new software, to the different style, the different type of game (SH is 5max there, not 6). And I like it to be honest.

I hope that this move will helps me to be a long time winning player who does make his dreams come true.

2500 - 4000: 3*NL100 – but I will play on both limit depends on my targets

…and today I hit the last one so I can 3tabling in any combination of these two limit

I’m lucky because I started the NL50 with an upswing a few months ago so I never went back to NL25. Now I’m in the same shoes with this NL100. I lost a few stack since I moved up but all of them on my NL50 tables - that's luck. The only difference is that this time I will play at NL50 too ‘til I reach 4k BR where I’ll start to test the next limit.

Moving up

Yeah baby, yesterday I had my 1st ever shot at NL100.

Since I’m usually 2-3tabling the plan is simple: 

2000 - 2250: 2*NL50 + 1*NL100
2250 - 2500: 1*NL50 + 2*NL100
2500 - 4000: 3*NL100 – but I will play on both limit depends on my targets

Sometimes I feel myself really good so I can 4tabling but that’s the maximum. A chance to lose the game flow and my ability to take notes... well for me those extra hands that another table would means just doesn’t worth it at all.

 

I played 3 mixed sessions: 342 hands at NL100 and 606 hands at NL50.

My first impressions, feelings, thoughts

• my pants was full in the 1st session
• I played a little bit passively (less 3bets, sqz, 4bets) than usual
• but the game is the same, fish is fish - reg is reg
• this is still poker “not the science of rockets“
• I thought this limit will be more aggressive than the NL50 but it wasn’t
• I know, this is very small sample but looks like the only difference is in our head – because of the bigger stacks, pots, blinds etc

So I played my B or B+ game at NL100 imo. In the same time I was really good at NL50 (I will post a river overbet hand in the other thread). I had bad luck: lost a pre ai w AA vs KK but luckily not at NL100 – always look on the bright side of life :-)

Anyway I had a very funny hand which makes this 1st shot much nicer and easier. Look at that brilliant turn play :-D

Opponent is a 66/2/32 fish after 324 hands. He is not an aggro monkey and he is able to fold to cbets (F: 52%, T: 46% - 100% in 3bet pots). He doesn’t like to bet vs MCB (25% oop).

I thought my only chance to win something here if he has an Ace or if I can irritate him and makes him angry. That’s what I was doing on the turn…

About yesterday

I started the review of my worst poker day but I don't want to waste any more time with it. I made a few mistakes but overall that was a day when whatever what you are doing you just cannot win. I'm not going to post here individual hands. I upload the 60BB + loses and here is the link:

Of course, there are mistakes between them but most of them are variance. Wasn't my luckiest day at all.

But in the same time this could be a huge luck because I'm going back to my lovely NL50 SH game so I hope that I payed off every luckfest yesterday and today I'll get back some of them or at least my 80-20 hands can win :-)

Rush is good for me today

I've already played 2 sessions at NL10 Rush FR today. The game was good and simple. I was 4tabling so my stats are a little bit nitty but it felt good at this time.
